Our daily Christian journey is all about the choices we make. People's perceptions of Christ and the church are sometimes formed based on our behaviors. Keep the story of Abraham binding Issac in mind as we examine the topic of influences.

God Gives the Growth, 1 Corinthians 3: 1-11

Brief Summary: The church in Corinth was often arguing about who was better, including in this passage where they were arguing over whose leadership was better. Paul reminds them that no one leader is better than the other, for all leaders in the church live into the role that God gives them. As we are starting a new chapter in the life of Berkley First, this is a reminder for our congregation: God is at the center of all we do. God directs us. God gives us parts to play. God grows us. We are simply a community of believers doing our best to follow God, together.
