
This class is designed and run by doctors of physical therapy from Dawn Thomas Physical Therapy and is geared toward seniors. This class is structured with a stretching and breathing warm up followed by an educational component, specific strengthening exercises with loop band or no equipment resistance. Circuit style will be used. Each educational piece is science backed, focused on the importance of strength training at every stage of life and what you can do to improve your STRENGTH to live well. You will develop an understanding of your personal functional strength status and what you can do to improve your strength. Let’s live well together!
Bring: Loop bands if you have them, wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat if you are able to get up and down from the floor. There will be modifications if you are more comfortable sitting or standing.
